Boehm's Physiotherapy Clinic is proud to announce the Run for your Life this Saturday, September 10th, 2016. There is an option to run or walk 5 K and run 10 K. Youth under 17 will have the option to participate in a 2 K fun run.


The monies pledged this year will be divided between Breast Cancer Research and Prostate Cancer Research.


The race will be held at Boehm's Physiotherapy Clinic


Also, if you do not want to take part in the run or walk you can volunteer your time at this great event. We are always looking for more volunteers to help line the race track and cheer on our runners! The volunteers would be asked to be at the start line at 10:00 am and remain on the race track until it closes around 1:00 pm.

Race Day Check-In:

  • 10:00 a.m. to register race day
  • No later than 10:30 am if pre-registered
  • Race starts at 11:00 am - please report to the officials' table to drop off your pledges (or registration fee), pick up your race number and find out your start time

Race Choices:

Three choices for adults:

  • 5 km fun walk
  • 5 km timed run
  • 10 km timed run

Kids and Youth 5 - 15

  • 2 km timed run

Race Day Entry Fee:

$20.00 - waived with $20.00 of pledges
(T-shirt size not guaranteed with race-day entry)

Race/Walk Information:

This is a fun run, race and walk to foster activity and enjoyment of our community. It is open to all, including kids. Proceeds from pledges this year will be given to the Breast Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer Foundation. (Make cheques payable to 'Run for your life.')

You do not have to be a super athlete to participate - we welcome any level of walker or runner! Please come and enjoy the day, and walk as much as you can to be a part of this great community event.

Many local businesses are donating money to cover the costs of running such an event, and we applaud their involvement! Please look at the list of sponsors and support those who support the community.


  • Racers will respect officials, fellow competitors, and fans
  • Competitors are encouraged to cheer on other racers finishing after them at the finish line
  • The race is timed, but please bring your own watch if you would like precise timing

Post-Race: Snacks/food available at the finish line for all participants.


Registration Info: All competitors must complete the medical questionnaire and sign the waiver (available on online) before the race
